LANDSCAPES OF THE SOUL An Exhibition of Paintings by JESAL DALAL, HEMALI SHAH in Nehru Centre Art Gallery

22nd – 28th April 2025 “Landscapes of the Soul” An Exhibition of Paintings by JESAL DALAL, HEMALI SHAH VENUE: Nehru Center Art Gallery Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai 4000018 Timing: 11am to 7pm Contact: +91 99250 36131 / +91 96628 36342 Landscapes of the Soul: A Journey Through Art with Jesal Dalal & Hemali Shah If youтАЩre in Mumbai between April 22 and 28, make some time to step into a space that offers more than just art on walls. Landscapes of the Soul, a two-woman show by artists Jesal Dalal and Hemali Shah, is opening at the Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Worli, and it promises to be an experience of quiet beauty and deep reflection. This isnтАЩt your typical art exhibition. Jesal and Hemali, though very different in style, come together with a shared intent: to express the unspoken тАФ those silent emotions, fleeting thoughts, and inner landscapes we all carry but often canтАЩt describe. Their work doesnтАЩt shout for attention. Instead, it gently pulls you in. JESAL DALAL JesalтАЩs art feels like a breath of fresh air тАФ or more accurately, like standing alone in a wide open space, surrounded by nature, and finally hearing yourself think. Using watercolours as her main medium, she leans into subtle hues, soft brushwork, and the play of light. Her paintings donтАЩt just show you a scene; they ask you to feel it. Interestingly, Jesal didnтАЩt start out as an Artist. She dabbled in architecture and interior design before discovering that painting was her real calling. Mostly self-taught, her artistic path has taken her across India and even to international exhibitions. Whether itтАЩs the way she uses chiaroscuro for emotional depth or the way she lets form dissolve into the atmosphere, her work speaks of introspection and the search for peace. Her paintings are not about specific places. TheyтАЩre about states of mind.   HEMALI SHAH HemaliтАЩs journey with art began with Disney cartoons, but today, sheтАЩs painting nature through a lens of realism touched by emotion. Her background in Fine Arts, especially her time at C. N. Vidyalaya, gave her the foundation to grow, but itтАЩs her connection to the natural world that fuels her creativity. Working primarily in watercolours, Hemali blends technical skill with a personal colour palette thatтАЩs uniquely hers. Her pieces often reflect the way she sees the world тАФ not just whatтАЩs there, but what it means. ThereтАЩs something deeply grounded in her work, yet...

From: 21st to 27th April 2025 “Cascade of Shades” Solo Show of Paintings by well-known artist┬аRagini Sinkar┬а VENUE: Jehangir Art Gallery 161-B, M.G. Road Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400001 Timing: 11am to 7pm Contact: +91 99226 20155 Cascade of Shades : A creative journey of the blend of colors, tones, and textures There are paintings that capture your sight and then there are those that quietly enter your thoughts, linger in your imagination, and bloom with every passing moment. Cascade of Shades, a solo exhibition by Ragini Sinkar, belongs to the latter. Every painting in this series bridges gap between imagination and perception. This show was inaugurated on 21st April 2025 by Honourable Guests┬аAchyut Palav(Master Calligrapher and Designer, Pamashree 2025),Ashok Dugade(Chairman & Managing Trustee, Saturday Club),Sanjay Deore(Managing Director, SKD Consultants Pvt. Ltd.) among others. Each canvas in Cascade of Shades feels alive with motionтАФnot in the literal sense, but in how it unfolds across time and mood. A painting seen in morning light might feel entirely different by dusk. These are not static pieces, they evolve with the viewer. Built with translucent layers, subtle contrasts, and a keen eye for harmony, RaginiтАЩs abstract compositions explore the delicate bridge between perception and imagination. Her work invites you to pause, to reflect, to lose and perhaps find yourself within shifting tones and textures. A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Ragini completed her A.T.D. in 1998 with first rank, followed by a B.F.A. in Drawing and Painting in 2002. Over the years, her work has been exhibited at some of MumbaiтАЩs most prestigious galleries, including multiple solo and group shows at Jehangir, Nehru Centre, and Cymroza Art Gallery. Her achievements include awards for design, object drawing, portraiture, sketching, and collage, and she has actively contributed to the Indian art scene through platforms such as the Art Society of India, Camlin Art Foundation, Bombay Art Society, and several women-led exhibitions. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/frC-MKlg4hc CASCADE OF SHADES Solo Show of Paintings by Ragini Sinkar in Jehangir Art...

Contact: +91 9920072573 kabeerphotoart.com MomentsтАжa solo photo-art exhibition by Kabeer Ramesh at the Jehangir Art Gallery from 16-22 April 2025 This show was inaugurated on 16th April 2025 by Professor Gautam Gawali, (Pro VC Amity University) Kabeer Ramesh Professor SM Michael (Director Indian Institute of Culture Mumbai and renowned abstract artist Vilas Shinde in the presence of Photographer Kabeer Ramesh’s students, Miss. Pradnya , Professor Abhinaya Ramesh, international visitors from Rome, Girl students (Seating) Photo artist Kabeer Ramesh comes with one more solo exhibition of his photographs at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery. His previous exhibitions were ‘Frozen in Times’, (Jehangir, 2023); ‘Every Picture has a Story’ (Niyta Art Gallery); and ‘Enduring Imprints’ (Nehru Centre). The тАШMomentsтАЩ, as he titles the present exhibition, captures his creative moments, depicting a variety of subjects drawn from broad experiences resulting from travels to European museums, landscapes and other locations. This attempt at memorializing the monumental achievements of humanity, inscribed in stone, depicts human resolve in achieving the unachievable: the London Bridge and the skyscrapers, among others; at the same time, the melancholy and enigma of bondage and yearning for freedom are present in his photos of statues. Thus, KabeerтАЩs photo art offers sensitive explorations into the complex human condition: a deep yearning for freedom and unavoidable bondage.┬а Some of his works are presented in the black and white scheme: the Taj Mahal, the London Bridge, the dilapidated urban habitat, and the harsh conditions of life. This offers both an archaic presence and its fleeting, fading passage.┬а Kabeer is fascinated with the many shades and moods of the sky. The sky at different times of the day and night presents multiple possibilities; even the darkness, that is the absence, offers glimpses of potential.┬а ┬аPortraits in KabeerтАЩs work of people from everyday walks of life present many orientations to the given:┬а some present deep anguish, while others show contentment even amidst the uncertain. Realms Of Peace тАУ IV Solo Show Of Paintings By Well-Known Artist Bhaskar Singha

From: 15th┬аto 21st┬аApril 2025 тАЬRealms of Peace тАУ IV Solo Show of Paintings By Well-known artist┬аBhaskar Singha VENUE: Jehangir Art Gallery 161-B, M.G.. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400 001 Timing: 11am to 7pm Contact: +91 9811686338 Email:┬аbhaskarsingha@gmail.com Realms of Peace тАУ IV : The Meditative Art of Bhaskar Singha The world of art is often seen as a sanctuaryтАФan alternate realm where beauty, thought, and emotion converge. Few artists embody this idea more completely than Bhaskar Singha, whose upcoming solo exhibition, “Realms of Peace тАУ IV,” promises to be both a visual and spiritual journey. The exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday, 15th April 2025 by┬аSudipto Sen, noted film director of The Kerala Story and Bastar;┬аMr. Mohan Thombre, retired IAS officer;┬аMrs. Sujata Bali of Miran Production, ┬аMr. Rakesh Gupta, Director of Routes 2 Roots NGO; and┬аMr. Sujit Das,┬аExecutive Vice President – Creative, Turmeriq. Bhaskar Singha is not merely a painterтАФhe is a seeker, a chronicler of lifeтАЩs simplicity, and a spiritual explorer. Over the last 28 years, he has developed a unique visual language, initially through watercolour, and later through acrylic on canvas. His early watercolours are noted for their distinct layering techniqueтАФten to twelve translucent washes that often resemble stencil work or the wax resist textures of batik. As his journey progressed, so did his themes. Singha often chooses issue-based subjectsтАФchild labour, devotion, psychology, Sanatan philosophyтАФtransforming them into meditative reflections on canvas. His deep connection with the Ramakrishna Mission infused his art with a stronger spiritual dimension, and the influence of Sanatan Sanskriti became increasingly central to his work. SinghaтАЩs artworks are rich in symbolism and atmosphere. One can sense the cool breeze on a beach, the rustling of leaves, or the searing heat of a summer dayтАФeach natural element crafted with emotional nuance. In works like ‘Youth,’he portrays the fire and competitive spirit of young people across genders, highlighting the evolving roles of women in society. In another series, inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, he created pieces such as ‘Run for Clean India,’ capturing the ripple effect of one individualтАЩs actions in inspiring community change. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5DRdVHRa1vw ┬а Realms Of Peace тАУ IV Solo Show Of Paintings By Well-Known Artist┬аBhaskar...

How To Disappear Completely Solo Show Of Paintings By Contemporary Master Painter Amit Gautam In Jehangir Art Gallery

15th┬аto 21st┬аApril 2025 тАЬHow to Disappear CompletelyтАЭ Solo Show of Paintings by contemporary master painter┬аAmit Gautam VENUE: Jehangir Art Gallery 161-B, M.G. Road Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400 001 Timing:11am to 7pm. Contact:+91 7983017587 Amit Gautam, a distinguished visual artist, is celebrated for his exceptional command over the watercolor mediumтАФa form both fluid and elusive, requiring a rare finesse. A postgraduate from National Institute of Design, Amit brings a unique take on contemporary art. His works have been showcased across prominent galleries both in India and internationally, including the Fall Brook Art Centre, Middletown Arts Centre, Mooresevevilla Arts Centre, Pryor Art Gallery, and the Michelson Museum of Art in the United States. Watercolor, by its very nature, demands both patience and precision. To coax such a mercurial medium into form is an art in itselfтАФand in GautamтАЩs work, viewers are treated to a masterclass in this delicate balance. His portraits, the highlight of this exhibition, are imbued with quiet intensity and a profound sensitivity to human expression. Faces in his paintings do not merely existтАФthey speak, they reveal, they evoke. GautamтАЩs fascination with the human conditionтАФparticularly the nuances of the faceтАФforms the emotional core of his artistic journey. The human figure has remained a consistent theme in his explorations, serving both as subject and metaphor. In his portraits, each face becomes a narrativeтАФetched in color, shadow, and silence. This exhibition is not a declaration, but an invitationтАФto experience the poetic drama of light and pigment, of flowing color harnessed within form. The works are as unrestrained as they are composedтАФa celebration of color, contemplation, and craft. His paintings strike a rare harmony between conceptual precision and expressive freedom. The exhibition is open to all, from 11 AM to 7 PM daily, and admission is free of charge. Art connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike are warmly invited to witness this exquisite confluence of technique and soul, and to immerse themselves in a visual experience that is both profound and poetic. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/X1rCNUoxpc0 How To Disappear Completely Solo Show Of Paintings By Contemporary Master Painter Amit Gautam In Jehangir Art...

Sportsbaazi Kicks Off New Brand Campaign With Robin Uthappa, Celebrating The Science Of Sports Trading

~ тАЬYe Dil. Dimag. Data Ka Game HaiтАЭ introduces fans to a world of data, discipline, and decision-making~ IndiaтАЩs leading sports trading platform, SportsBaazi, has launched its latest campaign, тАЬYe Dil. Dimag. Data Ka Game HaiтАЭ, spotlighting World Cup winner, life coach, motivational speaker, and now sports trader, Robin Uthappa. The campaign goes beyond a promotional exercise to build awareness and trust in sports trading as a strategic, skill-based format, tapping into the emotional, intellectual, and analytical fabric of modern-day sports fans. Launched in sync with the IPL 2025 season, the campaign positions sports trading as a new-age engagement model where fans shift from passive viewership to active participation by trading on live match moments. With Robin Uthappa at the forefront, the campaign challenges stereotypes around sports trading by showcasing the sport as a field of discipline, data, and decision-makingтАФnot just chance. Known for his fearless gameplay and strategic batting approach, Robin embodies the very ethos of a sports trader- sharp, analytical, and composed under pressure. In a series of campaign films, Robin educates traders about the thought process one needs to employ during trading in live match moments, drawing from deep game knowledge and real-time insights. Robin Uthappa, said, тАЬWhat attracted me to this campaign was the philosophy behind it. IтАЩve always believed that great performance on the field or in life comes down to clarity, preparation, and discipline. Sports trading is a game of insight, pattern recognition, and strategic timing. I see it as a natural evolution for the serious sports fan. If my journey can inspire even a few to explore it with the right mindset, IтАЩll consider it a win.тАЭ Puneet Dua, Chief Marketing Officer, SportsBaazi, said тАЬThis campaign is not just about awarenessтАФitтАЩs about sparking a movement. At SportsBaazi, our vision is to legitimize sports trading as IndiaтАЩs next big skill-based format. WeтАЩre building a space for serious sports fansтАФthose who bring intellect, preparation, and strategy to their gameplay. Robin UthappaтАЩs evolution from cricketer to life coach to sports trader perfectly aligns with the mindset we want to cultivate — composed, thoughtful, and data driven. With IPL 2025 energizing the nation, weтАЩre excited to amplify this narrative across IndiaтАЩs sports-loving heartland.тАЭ But UthappaтАЩs role goes far deeper than screen presence. In creative workshops with the SportsBaazi team, he reimagined the platformтАЩs core slogan. тАЬWhile we began with тАШDil. Dimag. DataтАЩ, Robin added a fourth тАШDтАЩ: Discipline. That struck a chord. So much so, it...

This evocative showcase delves into the fluidity of visual consciousness, where fleeting memories, ethereal harmonies, and the profound vastness of nature coalesce, offering an immersive exploration of abstraction and introspection. The book How to become a Disciplined artist, written by artist Santosh More, was released and his paintings exhibition was inaugurated on 1st┬аApril 2025 by┬аHon. Guests Brinda Miller, Dolly Thakore, Prof. Anil Naik, Ravi Mandlik, Dilip Ranade, Prakash Bal Joshi among others with the notable presence of eminent artist┬а Prof. Prabhar Kolte, Vilas Shinde, Yashwant Deshmukh and others. MoreтАЩs artistic lexicon is deeply interwoven with his early captivation by the natural world and the cultural vibrancy of his homeland. His compositions manifest as dynamic, formless entitiesтАФan interplay of imperceptible forces that converge, dissolve, and reconstitute in silent dialogue. These amorphous structures, shifting and intermingling, resonate with an almost meditative cadence, giving birth to a visual language that transcends the constraints of representation. In┬аEchoes of Metaphor, MoreтАЩs work resists definitive interpretation, instead beckoning viewers into an open-ended engagement with ambiguity. His paintings do not dictate meaning but rather invite contemplation, allowing each observer to unearth personal resonances within the interplay of form and space. The exhibition embodies an aesthetic philosophy of surrender and rediscoveryтАФan odyssey into the liminal realms between the tangible and the intangible, between the seen and the unspoken. With a career spanning over three decades, Santosh More has firmly established himself as a significant voice in contemporary abstraction. A BFA graduate from Mumbai University, his practice is distinguished by its seamless fusion of abstract expression and nuanced metaphorical depth. His works have been exhibited at some of the countryтАЩs most prestigious institutions, including Jehangir Art Gallery, CIMA Gallery, Gallery Art & Soul, Gallery Articulate, Gallery Guild, and the Bombay Art Society, earning him wide acclaim and numerous accolades. From: 1st┬аto 7th┬аApril 2025 “COMPANIONтАЭ Solo Show of Paintings by renowned artist┬аProf. Sunil Tambe VENUE: Jehangir Art Gallery 161-B, M.G. Road Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400 001 Timing: 11am to7pm. Contact: +91 9422707842 / +91 7972 838464 A solo exhibition by renowned artist Prof. Sunil Tambe, Principal of S.S.V.P.S. School of Art, Dhule, has been organized at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, from April 1 to April 7, 2025. This exhibition is based on the theme тАЬSaathidar: Timeless Spiritual Longing, the Modern Woman, and Devotion.тАЭ This show was inaugurated on 1st April 2025 by┬аPrabhakar Kolte(eminent artist) in the presence of┬аKanwaljit Singh(veteran actor), Prakash Bal Joshi, Dolly Thakore, Dr. Sanjay Bhide, Vinay Patil, Vinod Bhadane,┬аShyambabu Naidu┬аamong others. The exhibition explores the idea that Krishna is not just the ultimate goal of our spiritual journeyтАФhe is also our eternal companion. When one is immersed in devotion, an unbreakable attraction towards him arises. The soul longs to see him, to be near him, and to merge into his divine embrace. However, Krishna is not easily perceived by our physical senses; he is entirely spiritual, while our minds remain entangled in worldly attachments. Only through genuine devotion can we transcend to a higher spiritual state and experience his divine presence. This idea is beautifully expressed in the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 18, Verse 61): тАЬIshvarah Sarvabhutanam Hriddeshe Arjuna Tishthati | Bhramayan Sarvabhutani Yantrarudhani Mayaya ||тАЭ тАЬThe Supreme Lord resides in the hearts of all beings, O Arjuna, and directs their wanderings according to their past karma, as if they were mounted on a machine made of material energy.тАЭ Krishna is never far from us; he resides within our hearts, guiding us, waiting for us to turn towards him with devotion and surrender. From Meera Bai to modern women, the eternal longing for Krishna has remained unchanged. The devotion that once illuminated Meera BaiтАЩs heart still flows in the hearts of young women today. KrishnaтАЩs love is beyond the boundaries of time, and so is the longing for him. Through his paintings, Prof. Tambe has beautifully expressed this eternal devotion. His artworks illustrate that just as Meera Bai was completely immersed in KrishnaтАЩs devotion, the modern woman too experiences the same spiritual longing today. The emotions in her eyes, the devotion that permeates her entire beingтАФthese paintings are not mere visual representations but profound spiritual experiences brought to life through art.
