His approach aligns closely with the Japanese Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, valuing impermanence, irregularity, and the marks of time, yet he adapts this sensibility to an Indian urban and material context. Rather than documenting decay, his images transform it into a language of resilience and luminous transformation. Bahar-E-Urdu: Celebrating 50 Years Of Maharashtra Urdu Sahitya Academy

Mumbai is set to immerse itself in the rich traditions of Urdu literature, art, and music as the Maharashtra Urdu Sahitya Academy marks its golden jubilee with a grand celebration titled Bahar-e-Urdu. The three-day cultural extravaganza, organised by the Minority Department of Maharashtra, will be held at the iconic DOME SVP Stadium, Worli, on 6th, 7th and 8th October 2025. A Festival of Words, Melody and Heritage The event promises to be a confluence of Urdu’s timeless charm — from thought-provoking seminars, panel discussions, and storytelling sessions, to soulful renditions of ghazals, qawwali, and sufi music. Exhibition stalls will add to the cultural mosaic, showcasing works that celebrate Urdu’s literary and artistic journey. Each day will bring a unique mix of performances: Day One (6th October) opens with an exhibition and inaugural ceremony, followed by a stirring Qaumi Yakjehti Geet, an Urdu theatrical drama, and a celebrity Mushaira featuring acclaimed poets. اردو — دوسرا دن نوجوان آوازیں، ادبی حکمت و روحانی شب ممبئی، ۷ اکتوبر ۲۰۲۵: مہاراشٹر اردو ساہتیہ اکیڈمی کی پچاس سالہ خدمات کے جشن “بہار اردو” کے دوسرے دن نے ڈوم ایس وی پی اسٹیڈیم ورلی کو اردو کی فصاحت، فکر اور جذبات سے روشناس کروایا۔ بہار اردو کے دوسرے دن کا آغاز ایک اوپن مائیک مشاعرہ سے ہوا جس میں نوجوان شعراء نے اپنے کلام سے سامعین کو محظوظ کیا۔ ان میں قائم شاہ، احد سعید، پائل پانڈے، زین لکھیم پوری، ریاض عاصی، شوکت علی، عدنان شیخ، میانک ورما، عمران عطائی اور مقصود آفاق نے اپنے خوبصورت کلام پیش کیے۔ بعد ازاں “مہاراشٹر میں اردو ادب” کے عنوان سے ایک مذاکرے کا انعقاد ہوا جس میں ماڈریٹر کے فرائض ڈاکٹر تبسم خان نے انجام دیے۔ اس مذاکرے میں ڈاکٹر شیخ احرار احمد (تھانے)، ڈاکٹر قاضی نوید صدیقی (اورنگ آباد)، ڈاکٹر عبداللہ امتیاز احمد (ممبئی) اور پروفیسر شاہد نوخیز نے اپنے مقالے پیش کیے۔ اس کے بعد “جدید ٹیکنالوجی اور اردو” کے عنوان سے ایک علمی محفل کا انعقاد ہوا جسے محمد عرفان رضا نے ماڈریٹ کیا۔ اس نشست میں ڈاکٹر محمد تابش خان (بھیونڈی)، ڈاکٹر لِیاقت علی (دہلی)، ڈاکٹر پرویز احمد، اور ڈاکٹر محمود مرزا نے جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے دور میں اردو کو میسر مواقع پر امید افزا گفتگو کی۔ شام کے اوقات میں تمثیلی مشاعرے کے عنوان سے ایک خوبصورت محفل منعقد ہوئی۔ اس نشست میں زاہد علی سید، منظُور الاسلام ساجد اے حمید، رضیہ بیگ، نعمان خان، نزہت پروین عقیل کاغذی، طلحہ ہاشمی، محسن حسنین شیخ اور خان شاداب محمد نے مرزا غالب، طاہر فراز، انجم رہبر اور عبید اعظم عظمی اور پروین شاکر جیسے مشہور شعراء کی تمثیل کی اور محفل کو چار چاند لگا دیے۔ تمثیلی مشاعرے کے بعد “داستان گوئی” کی محفل میں فوزیہ داستان گو نے سماں باندھ دیا تو اس کے فوری بعد ایک دل نشیں محفل میں صوفی گلوکارہ جہلم سنگھ نے اپنے نغمات پیش کیے جس پر بالخصوص نوجوان سامعین نے دل کھول کر داد دی۔ شام کے ہی ایک اہم سیشن میں اردو زبان و ادب کی خدمت کرنے والوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا گیا اور ان کے درمیان مختلف زمروں میں ایوارڈ تقسیم کیے گئے۔ اس میں نوجوان قلمکاروں کی حوصلہ افزائی کی گئی۔ اردو اخبارات و رسائل کے بہترین لے آؤٹ ڈیزائنرس کی صلاحیتوں کا اعتراف کیا۔ اسکول اور کالج و یونیورسٹی سطح پر اساتذہ کی تدریسی خدمات کا اعتراف کیا گیا۔ اس کے ساتھ ہی مختلف زمروں میں لکھی گئی بہترین کتابوں کے...

Bahar-E-Urdu Day 2: Young Voices, Literary Wisdom & A Night of Soulful Celebration

Mumbai, October 7, 2025: The second day of Bahar-e-Urdu, celebrating fifty years of the Maharashtra Urdu Sahitya Academy, lit up the Dome SVP Stadium, Worli, with a grand tribute to Urdu’s eloquence, intellect, and emotion. The day began with an Open Mic Mushaira, where young poets Kayam Shah, Ahad Saeed, Payal Pandey, Zain Lakhimpuri, Riyaz Aasi, Shaukat Ali, Adnan Shaikh, Mayank Verma, Imran Ataai and Maqsood Aafaque filled the hall with youthful passion and heartfelt verse. Two scholarly sessions followed. In “Maharashtra Mein Urdu Adab,” moderated by Dr. Tabassum Khan, papers were presented by Dr. Shaikh Ahrar Ahmad (Thane) and Dr. Quazi Naveed Siddiqui (Aurangabad), with insights from Dr. Abdullah Imteyaz Ahmad (Mumbai) and Prof. Shahid Naukhez (Hyderabad). The next, “Modern Technology and Urdu,” moderated by Mohammad Irfan Raza, featured Dr. Mohd. Tabish Khan (Bhiwandi), Dr. Liaqat Ali (Delhi), Dr. Parvez Ahmad, and Dr. Mahmood Mirza, highlighting Urdu’s growing digital presence. The evening’s Tamseeli Mushaira brought poetic icons to life, with Zahid Ali Sayyed, Manzoor Islam, Sajid A. In an era where technology connects the world but also amplifies its darkest corners, 17-year-old Fia Inamdar is showing how compassion and innovation can reclaim digital spaces. A student at Kodaikanal International School, Fia has turned her own painful experience with cyberbullying into a nationwide movement for mental health and online safety. In 2022, she co-founded Mind Over Matter, India, a youth-led organization that dismantles the stigma surrounding mental health and creates safe spaces for young people to speak openly. The initiative has already touched more than a thousand lives through walkathons, gratitude journals, art competitions, and peer-dialogue programs. It’s a movement rooted in empathy and powered by action. Her latest venture, CyBud, is a natural extension of that mission. CyBud is an AI-powered chatbot that serves as a digital friend to students facing cyberbullying or emotional distress. It listens, guides, and when necessary, connects users to professional mental health resources — ensuring that no young person has to navigate online trauma alone. “CyBud isn’t just a chatbot,” says Fia. “It’s a reminder that technology can care, too.” The urgency of her work was underscored recently when actor Akshay Kumar revealed that his 13-year-old daughter had been targeted during an online game — a shocking incident that reminded the nation how unsafe the internet can be for children. नई दिल्ली, 24 सितंबर 2025 — नवरात्रि के पावन पर्व पर जहां देशभर में श्रद्धा और भक्ति का वातावरण है, वहीं विश्व हिंदू सेवा संघ के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एडवोकेट रविंद्र के द्विवेदी ने एक गंभीर और भावुक बयान जारी करते हुए देशवासियों, विशेषकर सनातन धर्म के अनुयायियों से एकजुट होने की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा: “मैं आज बड़े ही दुख और भारी मन से यह कहना चाहता हूं कि देश एक संकटपूर्ण दौर से गुजर रहा है। कुछ राजनीतिक शक्तियाँ सत्ता की लालसा में देश को अस्थिर करने के प्रयास कर रही हैं। ‘आई लव मोहम्मद’ के नाम पर मुस्लिम युवाओं का संगठित होकर सड़कों पर उतरना एक सोची-समझी रणनीति का हिस्सा प्रतीत होता है। जबकि ऐसी कोई घटना ही नहीं हुई है जिसमें हजरत मोहम्मद का अपमान किया गया हो।” एडवोकेट द्विवेदी ने इस बात पर चिंता जताई कि एक ओर जहाँ देश में सामाजिक सौहार्द को तोड़ने की साजिशें चल रही हैं, वहीं सनातन धर्म के आचार्य, साधु-संत और शंकराचार्य आपसी मतभेदों में उलझे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह समय आरोप-प्रत्यारोप का नहीं, बल्कि एकजुट होकर सनातन संस्कृति और भारत माता की रक्षा करने का है। “हमें इस समय किसी को छोटा-बड़ा, ज्ञानी-मूर्ख दिखाने की लड़ाई नहीं लड़नी चाहिए। यह समय देश को बचाने का है।” उन्होंने देश के साधु-संतों, धर्माचार्यों और सभी हिंदू संगठनों से एक मंच पर आने की अपील की, ताकि राष्ट्र के सभी वर्गों को जोड़कर एकता का सशक्त संदेश दिया जा सके। राजनीतिक तुष्टिकरण पर कड़ा प्रहार एडवोकेट द्विवेदी ने कहा कि अधिकतर राजनेता आज मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति कर रहे हैं, जिससे देश की कानून व्यवस्था और सामाजिक संतुलन दोनों खतरे में हैं। “देश की न्याय व्यवस्था या तो जातिवादी मानसिकता से ग्रस्त है, या भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त है। ऐसे समय में हमें बहुत सोच-समझकर किसी भी नेता का समर्थन करना चाहिए — ना जातिवादी, ना भाषावादी, केवल राष्ट्रवादी।” जनसंख्या नियंत्रण कानून की मांग उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार से कड़ा जनसंख्या नियंत्रण कानून लाने की मांग करते हुए चेतावनी दी कि यदि समय रहते कठोर कदम नहीं उठाए गए, तो यह देश, इसका संविधान और सनातन संस्कृति तीनों संकट में पड़ सकते हैं। निष्कर्ष में उनकी अपील: “देश और सनातन धर्म की रक्षा के लिए अब हमें केवल सरकार के भरोसे नहीं रहना चाहिए। अब समय है जागने का, एक होने का, और राष्ट्र हित में कार्य करने का।”   विश्व हिंदू सेवा संघ के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एडवोकेट रविंद्र के द्विवेदी का देशवासियों से भावुक अपील “देश संकट में है, अब...

राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने 150 सदस्यीय टीम के साथ संभाला मोर्चा मुंबई। पंजाब में आई भीषण बाढ़ ने हजारों परिवारों का जीवन तहस-नहस कर दिया है। इस आपदा के बीच देश की जानी-मानी समाजसेविका और मेघाश्रेय संस्था की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह राहत कार्यों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही हैं। उनकी संस्था ने पंजाब के अलग-अलग बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में समर्पित भावना के साथ मदद का अभियान छेड़ दिया है। राहत सामग्री घर-घर पहुँचाई जा रही संस्था की टीम अब तक हजारों परिवारों तक खाने-पीने की सामग्री, दूध, चाय, नाश्ता, दवाइयाँ, कंबल, चादर और ज़रूरी घरेलू सामान पहुँचा चुकी है। संस्था के स्वयंसेवक घर-घर जाकर बाढ़ पीड़ितों की हर ज़रूरत का ध्यान रख रहे हैं। 150 कार्यकर्ता जुटे सेवा में पंजाब के अलग-अलग जिलों में संस्था की 150 सदस्यीय टीम तैनात है। यह टीमें लगातार राहत सामग्री पहुँचाने और लोगों की मदद करने का काम कर रही हैं। सीमा सिंह : नारी शक्ति और सेवा की मिसाल सीमा सिंह का नाम देशभर में समाजसेवा और मानवता की सेवा के लिए जाना जाता है। वे मेघाश्रेय संस्था की संस्थापिका और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष हैं। उन्होंने कई वर्षों से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, महिला सशक्तिकरण, अनाथ बच्चों की देखभाल और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं में राहत कार्य जैसे अनेक क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय योगदान दिया है। सीमा सिंह ने हमेशा समाज के वंचित वर्ग और जरूरतमंदों के उत्थान के लिए काम किया है। उनकी संस्था ने समय-समय पर अनाथालय, वृद्धाश्रम, महिलाओं और बच्चों की सुरक्षा तथा शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय पहल की है। सीमा सिंह का मानना है कि “सच्ची सेवा वही है, जिसमें न कोई स्वार्थ हो और न कोई दिखावा, केवल मानवता का भाव हो।” “मानवता और भाईचारे को चरितार्थ करना ही लक्ष्य” – सीमा सिंह संस्था की संस्थापिका और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने कहा कि “मेघाश्रेय का उद्देश्य केवल मदद करना ही नहीं बल्कि इस कठिन समय में मानवता और भाईचारे की मिसाल पेश करना है। जब तक हालात सामान्य नहीं हो जाते, हमारी संस्था पंजाब के लोगों की सेवा में समर्पित रहेगी।” बाढ़ पीड़ितों के लिए उम्मीद की किरण स्थानीय लोगों ने मेघाश्रेय संस्था की निस्वार्थ सेवा की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस आपदा की घड़ी में संस्था का सहयोग उनके लिए बहुत बड़ी राहत है। पंजाब में जगह-जगह पानी भरा हुआ है और लोग बेघर हो चुके हैं, लेकिन संस्था की पहल से पीड़ित परिवारों को नई उम्मीद मिली है।    राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने 150 सदस्यीय टीम के साथ संभाला...
