India, 25 September, 2023: World Alliance Justice (WJA), an international association of legal professionals, is proud to announce its objective to defend human rights by uniting legal experts from around the globe. It has officially launched its presence in Belgrade, Serbia with an extension to India soon. This milestone marks a significant step in the organization’s mission to defend human rights and justice on a global scale. Comprising lawyers, magistrates, journalists, investigators, and more, this alliance is dedicated to creating a platform for collaboration and support in the pursuit of justice for victims of gross human rights violations and war crimes. The organization’s primary aim is to become a registered NGO headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and affiliated with the United Nations, further solidifying its commitment to advancing human rights on a global scale. Under its leitmotif, “justice for everyone, everywhere,” WJA seeks to address growing concerns about the politicization of justice systems, denials of justice, and the erosion of civil liberties in many parts of the world. WJA has opened offices not only in Belgrade but also in countries including India, Geneva, Frankfurt, Riyadh, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Belgium, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, the UK, Hong Kong, Venezuela, Nigeria, China, and Australia. This global footprint allows the organization to provide assistance to victims worldwide. The core objectives of World Alliance Justice are access to justice on international forum. Many victims around the world lack access to adequate legal representation or the financial means to pursue justice. World Alliance Justice seeks to bridge this gap by connecting victims with experienced legal professionals who can advocate for their rights. The organization aims to foster an international forum for legal professionals to network, collaborate, and share knowledge across borders. This exchange of expertise will enrich the global legal community and enhance its collective ability to address human rights abuses. The WJA fosters international collaboration among legal experts, including lawyers, magistrates, journalists, and investigators. WJA advocates for justice in cases where national jurisdictions fail to act due to political interference. The organization’s strategy includes utilizing the legal possibilities of other countries to initiate proceedings against perpetrators of abuses of power or crimes.
