The leading careers-led University of East London (UEL) opens first India office in Pune

The University of East London (UEL) is a public university located in the London Borough of Newham, London, England, whose roots can be traced to 1898 and attained University status in 1992 is setting up its First India office in Pune. The University has three campus in East London, with one being based in Royal Docklands and the other two in Stratford. London is indeed moving east and Canary Wharf which is the global financial hub is 10 minutes away from our campus. युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ ईस्ट लंडन (UEL) चे पहिले भारतीय कार्यालय पुण्यात सुरु आता आपण चौथ्या औद्योगिक क्रांतीत पोहोचलो आहोत पण UEL  दुसऱ्या औद्योगिकीय क्रांतीपासून म्हणजेच १८९८ पासून कार्यरत असून भविष्यातील औद्योगिक क्रांतीसाठी नेतृत्व तयार करीत आली आहे. युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ ईस्ट लंडन हे नेहमीच नेतृत्व तयार करणारे विद्यापीठ म्हणून ओळखले गेले आहे. UEL मधील विद्यार्थी कंपन्यांची पहिली पसंती बनतील यासाठी संस्था सतत कार्यरत असते आणि नवीन अभ्यासक्रम तयार करीत असते. युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ ईस्ट लंडन (UEL) हे लंडन बरो ऑफ न्यूहॅम, लंडन, इंग्लंड येथील एक सार्वजनिक विद्यापीठ आहे, याची स्थापना १८९८ मध्ये करण्यात आली होती. तर १९९२ मध्ये याला विद्यापीठाचा दर्जा प्राप्त झाला. आता UEL  भारतातील आपले पहिले कार्याल.पुणे येथे सुरु करीत आहे. युनिव्हर्सिटीचे पूर्व लंडनमध्ये तीन कॅम्पस आहेत, एक रॉयल डॉकलँड्समध्ये आणि इतर दोन स्ट्रॅटफोर्डमध्ये आहेत. जागतिक आर्थिक केंद्र असलेल्या कॅनरी व्हार्फपासून कॅम्पस फक्त १० मिनिटांच्या अंतरावर आहे. “आम्ही करिअर नेतृत्व तयार करणारे विद्यापीठ आहोत, सध्या औद्योगिक क्षेत्रात सतत बदल होत असून या बदलांसाठी आवश्यक कौशल्ये, भावनिक बुद्धिमत्ता आणि सर्जनशीलता विकसित करण्यासाठी आम्ही आमच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना शिकवत असतोअसे पूर्व लंडन विद्यापीठाचे रिक्रूटमेंट संचालक डॅनियल कफ यांनी यावेळी बोलताना सांगितले. २०१८-१९ या शैक्षणिक वर्षात दहा वर्षांच्या प्रवासासाठीचा म्हणजेच २०२८ पर्यंतचा रोड मॅप ईस्ट लंडन विद्यापीठाने तयार केला आहे. त्याअंतर्गत नवा अभ्यासक्रम, नवीन अध्यापनशास्त्र, संशोधन आणि विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये सकारात्मक बदल घडवून आणण्यासाठी ही १० वर्षांची नवीन रणनीती तयार करण्यात आली आहे. सगळ्यांच्या सहकार्याने या नव्या रणनीतीची अंमलबजावणी आम्ही सुरु करीत आहोत. “यूकेमधील करिअर केंद्रीत उद्यमशील विद्यापीठ म्हणून आमचे नाव व्हावे अशी आमची महत्त्वाकांक्षा आणि उद्दिष्ट आहे आमच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना भविष्यातील नोकऱ्यांसाठी तयार करणे आणि त्यांना सर्वसमावेशक शाश्वत भविष्य प्रदान करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जाणार आहे.” असेही डॅनियल कफ यांनी यावेळी सांगितले. पुण्याच्या हयात रिजन्सी येथील आइन्स्टाईन आणि न्यूटन हॉलमध्ये आयोजित पत्रकार परिषदेत डॅनियल कफ बोलत होते. पूर्व लंडन विद्यापीठ आणि लंडन, इंग्लंड, यूके आणि अॅशले. वेरेस येथील  ग्लोबल एज्युकेशन सेंटरचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक आणि विद्यापीठ भागीदारी सांभाळणारे अमोल वर्पे,  मालव्हर्न इंटरनॅशनलचे ग्लोबल सेल्स हेड ही या पत्रकार परिषदेला उपस्थित होते. भारतातील इंडस्ट्री ४.० रोजगाराला चालना देण्यासाठी युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ ईस्ट लंडनची धोरणात्मक रणनीती यावेळी जाहीर करण्यात आली. यूके सार्वजनिक विद्यापीठाचे पहिले दक्षिण आशियातील कार्यालय पुण्यात ग्लोबल स्टुडंट सेंटर नावाने सुरु करण्यात आल्याची घोषणा यावेळी करण्यात आली. पुण्यातील तरुणांची क्षमता पाहता विद्यापीठ पुण्यातील विद्यार्थ्यांना शैक्षणिक व्यवस्थेचा लाभ देण्यासाठी ग्लोबल स्टुडंट सेंटरच्या कार्यालयांचा विस्तारही केला जाणार असल्याचेही यावेळी सांगण्यात आले. “गेल्या काही वर्षांत संपूर्ण जगात व्यस्तता वाढली आहे. ती पाहाता विद्यापीठ सहकार्याच्या क्षेत्रांचा विस्तार करण्याची आमची इच्छा आहे. त्यासोबत आम्हाला आतापर्यंत मिळालेल्या यशाची माहितीही आम्ही देऊ पाहात आहोत.चौथ्या औद्योगिक क्रांतीमध्ये शिक्षण आणि उद्योगाच्या तयारीत जागतिक समुदायांसोबत विद्यापीठाचे व्हिजन २०२८ शेअर करू...
