The iconic Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, fondly known and remembered as the “Nightingale of India,” has captivated audiences for generations with her melodious voice. However, there’s more to her extraordinary life than just music. On 3rd November, a prestigious event held at the Nehru Centers Auditorium in Worli celebrated the multi-faceted talents of Lata Mangeshkar, unveiling her recently launched book, ‘…And She Clicked.’ This exceptional event, which was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries and an array of renowned personalities, was a magical evening filled with enchanting tales and breathtaking visuals. The esteemed Purbayan Chatterjee, accompanied by the brilliant musicians Satyajit Talwalkar and Aarya Shreyasi, provided a mesmerizing musical prelude to the evening, setting the stage for the unveiling of Lata Mangeshkar’s lesser-known passion—photography.
