Yadvi – The Dignified Princess premier attended by Mr. Devi Prasad Misra (Consul Trade, Commerce & Education) and his spouse Dr. Neha Garg along with their son as Chief Guest. The film running successfully at the Cinema Village, Manhattan, NY. Jyoti Singh’s Independent Drama is a true story of a princess from Patiala, Punjab India, named Yadvi, who is caught in the moral and societal dilemmas that existed in the period right before and after Indian independence, the film is particularly special because it is a tale told from an interesting source – the granddaughters of Princess Yadvi herself (director Jyoti Singh and writer Gauri Singh, Assistant, Ketki Puri). Yadvi is the tale of the beloved daughter of the Maharaja of Patiala, a very famous Maharaja of India, first to own an airplane in India and for many other important contributions to the history of India. This role is played by Bollywood Actor, Chandrachur Singh, his son debut’s as a child artist and Chandrachur Singh himself sings one of the songs of the film, “Rangreeza.” At a young age, Yadvi is betrothed to marry a Rajput prince from Maihar, Madya Pradesh, India to strengthen the political relationship between her kingdom and that of the prince with the caveat and she would only move after a certain age. When certain unexpected circumstances force Yadvi (Actress Jyoti Singh) to move to Maihar earlier than anticipated, and she faces unexpected challenges when she meets Prince of Maihar (Rahul Godara). Yadvi decides that, no matter what circumstance, she will maintain her status and dignity and accept her fate? Will Yadvi be accepted and be able to do justice to this and many more trying situations? Will the prince love her? How will she overcome the social dilemmas of both the time and what is expected of her? Actress Divya Dutta, inaugurated the Thailand Week 2018

The bi-lateral trade between India and Thailand is expected to touch 11,000 million US dollar during the current financial year ending December 2018, announced Ekapol Poolpipat, Consul General, Royal Thai Consulate-General Mumbai. The bi-lateral trade during the year ended December 2017 was around 10,000 million US dollar. Delivering a key note address at the inauguration of 3-day Thailand Week 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregoan, Poolpipat said the bi-lateral trade between the two countries during the first four months-January to April 2018 have gone up considerably and touched 857 Million US dollar against 720 Million US dollar during the corresponding period of the previous year. Earlier, famous and leading film actress, Divya Dutta, inaugurated the Thailand Week 2018 by lighting the lamp and cutting the ribbon. Inaugurating the trade show, Divya Dutta said Indian traders are very much interested in imports of Thailand products and services. However, India needs to improve infrastructural facilities including roads to facilitate the trade. Deepti Gupta, senior investment specialist, Department of Industrial Policy and promotion, ministry of commerce and industries, GoI talk about the rising trade opportunities between the India and Thiland. Around 10 million Indian work forces are joining every year and we see a momentum in manufacturing sector, Ms Gupta added.  The Thailand based companies which are operating in India plans to invest additional US dollar 3 billion by 2020. The investment will be made into green and brown field projects including Energy, infrastructure and metals, said Suwimol Tilokruangchai, executive director and consul, Thai Trade Center, Mumbai. “We are looking towards India with a great interest from last seven decades and plans to enhance the bi-lateral trades thanks to the positive approach of both the Thai and Indian governments. The Thailand based companies see a big potential in Indian energy, metals as well as infrastructural facilities, she added. Around 60 leading Thai companies were offering a wide range of products and technologies and it includes sectors like construction, automobile and car accessories, beauty and health care products, pet care products, food and food processing, household products and lifestyle products, he added. The imports from Thailand includes top items like Machinery, Electrical machinery, plastic, organic chemicals, vehicles, rubber, copper, Iron/steel products, chemical products (misc) and Iron and steel. Sandip Soparrkar Jury for International Theatre festival in Egypt

Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar who was a part of the prestigious third Sharm El Sheikh International Theatre Festival for the Youth in Egypt as a jury member and is quite kicked about the experience. Festival Heads Egyptian actress Wafaa El Hakim and director Mazen El Gharaway heard of the illustrated work Soparrkar has been doing all over the world through this international mythology based dance dramas and his National Excellence Award winning initiative “Dance for a Cause”. This made them get him on Jury panel for their theatre festival for the youth “It’s been an honour and a wonderful experience.’’  Said Sandip. Describing his experience further at the festival as a jury member, Sandip said, ‘’I have judged many dance shows and festivals, but this was my first time as a jury for a theatre festival and the experience has been very memorable. Youngsters today have such amazing ideas and energy, it’s infectious. Meeting and interacting with the other jury members and understanding how theatre is portrayed in their country was fabulous.” Sharm El Shaikh festival had plays from all across the world, including countries like Kuwait, Italy and sultan of Oman, Egypt , Tunisia and more. Varsha Naik and Sandip Soparrkar celebrate “USA Dance Day- Dance for a Social Cause” promoting the cause of drugs

Part of an international series, this movement was created a decade ago by the visionary choreographer Dr. Sandip Soparrkar to help raise awareness about important social issues around the globe. This year’s chosen topic was Substance Abuse and Drug Addiction. With the help of the inspirational Varsha Naik and her Navrang Dance Academy, a transcendent evening of performance, community education and empowerment was arranged.  The event was held at J.P.Stevens High School, in Edison, New Jersey The Event started with a beautiful musical rendition of the US national anthem and recital of the Indian National Anthem too. The opening performance choreographed and written by Dr. Sandip Soparrkar was one of the most powerful and effective anti-drug messages. The audience was captivated by the narrative of the piece — the performers from Navrang Dance Academy including Varsha Naik helped bring the story to life in a way that made Dr. Soparrkar’s work easily accessible to all in attendance. Later on, there were 11 beautiful dance performances from various talented artists. Multicultural and International Dance forms like – Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam, Colombian Salsa, Paraguay folk, Tap dance, Bachata, Indian folk, Tollywood, Ballroom, Bellydancing and Zumba fitness dance entertained the audience that evening. All encouraging the slogan Be high on dance not on drugs.    Dancers of many traditions came together for an evening of jaw-dropping performances and helped raise awareness about the dangers of Drug Addiction. Life was celebrated and honored through choreographed movement that uplifted the souls of all in attendance. The Cheif guest and Keynote speaker for this years USA Dance Day was Lion Daniel M. Elkins. Mr Elkins is a professional drug prevention specialist and community mobilizer for the Delaware Prevention Coalition. He is also the charter president of Bellefonte Lions Club. Lion Daniel has dedicated himself to helping communities fight the rising drug epidemic in this nation. Actor Chandrachur Singh turned singer for Yadvi – The Dignified Princess set to Release in CA & New York

Bollywood in Current times has numerous actors. The one thing is common in the film industry is chocolate heroes or lover boys. However, among all, there was one star who has not only considered chocolate hero, but also made a mark with as serious Roles. Yes, we are talking about none other than 90’s favourite chocolate hero, Chandrachur Singh. ChandrachurSingh has worked in many memorable films like Maachis, Tere Mere Sapne, Josh and so on. The 1996 Filmfare Award winner for Best Debut for  Maachis, Now made his singing debut with song, “Rangreeza” in the film Yadvi-The dignified Princess, accompanying him is the Pawani Panday, “Laila Main Laila” song fame. He is playing a character of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala.  One of the Wealthiest and famous Maharaja of India, who was first to own an airplane in India, that also Write Brothers Model and donated Ranji Trophy for cricketers, which is still given to Cricketers till today.
