Producer Chanda Patel is gearing up for Bollywood debut through I’m Not Porn Star: Nazar Sambhal Ke. Allaying fears about the Indian film industry’s future, filmmaker Chanda Patel avers Bollywood is here to stay and the change is the transition of viewers who are now consuming content online. “Audiences don’t die. They shift. People are consuming content on the net. Bollywood is not going anywhere, but personally I believe piracy should go. With digital coming in, there is a certain amount of realignment that is happening,” said Chanda Patel.     She was asked to comment on the future of Bollywood in the age of digital media. Gita Championship League Goes Worldwide Cutting Across Religious And National Boundaries

Mumbai – 23rd March 2019 – In one of the most spectacular exhibitions of socio-cultural harmony, the annual Gita Championship League Award ceremony was organised by ISKCON, Girgaon Chowpatty at Patidar Samaj Hall, last evening. Taking inspiration from the contest here in India, it also started in many other countries abroad like Malaysia, Mauritius, Middle East etc., where 2000 to 3000 students participate in such contest. Gita Champions League contest (GCL) 2019 witnessed 6050 students participating from 78 schools from various parts of Mumbai. It was also kicked off in various parts of India including Goa, Belgaum, Nasik Gujarat and Indore. On the occasion, Radhanath Swami Maharaj, ISKCON Spiritual Guru said, “Gita is not just a book, but it is a 5000-year old deep transcendental knowledge, which is relevant even today. Having withstood centuries and been a life-coach to many great personalities including Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Phule Bhagwat Gita’s essence is probably the most relevant in today’s context where children have no patience, are living in a world of instant results, developing serious problems like depression and increased incidents of suicides etc. Early age learnings from Bhagwatam can make a profound impact on children as they grow and help them deal with complex problems of life.” As of today, more than 1,35,000 registrations from over 1400 schools of various cities in India have happened. GCL was participated by children across schools, age-groups, communities and religions from all over Mumbai (South Mumbai, Mira Road, Bhayander, Dahisar, Malad, Borivali, Powai, Chembur, Bhandup, Mulund, Dombivli, Kalyan, Amabernath, Badlapur and Wangani etc. H.G. Shyamanand Prabhu, President ISKCON Girgaon Chowpatty along with Baldev Prabhu and Mukundmala Prabhu gave away the prizes to the student winners. In his speech addressing the gathering of students, their parents & faculties, Shyamanand Prabhu highlighted the necessity of educating our inner self with spiritual wisdom. शॉर्ट फिल्म ” रात बाकी बात बाक़ी ” की स्पेशल स्क्रीनिंग पर आये जॅकी श्रॉफ और राजकुमार संतोषी  इन दिनों बॉलीवुड स्टार्स का शॉर्ट फ़िल्मो में अभिनय को लेकर विशेष रूचि देखने को मिल रही है। इस वर्ष शार्ट फिल्म कैटेगरी में फिल्म फ़ेयर अवार्ड्स के लिए नॉमिनेट फ़िल्म “रात बाकी बात बाक़ी” की स्पेशल स्क्रीनिंग मुंबई में आयोजित की गयी इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि निर्देशक राजकुमार संतोषी , अभिनेता जैकी श्रॉफ़ और निर्देशक दिव्यांश पंडित अपनी पूरी टीम के साथ उपस्थित रहे.  अपनी दसवीं शार्ट फिल्म में अभिनेता जैकी श्रॉफ़ के अभिनय और युवा निर्देशक दिव्यांश पंडित के निर्देशन को दर्शकों का बहुत उम्दा प्रतिसाद मिला। “रात बाकी बात बाक़ी”  में जैकी श्रॉफ़ के साथ शुभांगी लाटकर , अक्षय नलावड़े , भावशील सिंह साहनी , सेमल भट्ट और रोहित लाम्बा प्रमुख क़िरदारों नज़र आयेंगे।  वाइल्ड़ बफ़ेलो बैनर्स के तले निर्मित फिल्म  का निर्माण आरुषि पंडित और चेष्टा  पंडित ने किया है।  फ़िल्म की कहानी आयुष गौर और दिव्यांश पंडित ने लिखी है फिल्म का बैकग्राऊंड सँगीत सेमल और निखिल ने तैयार किया है।  फिल्म के गीत सेमल भट्ट ने लिखा है और इसे गौरव भान ने गाया है। सरफराज अली हसन खान फिल्म के सिनेमाटोग्राफर और शुभांकर जाधव एडिटर है।     “रात बाकी बात बाक़ी” एक लाइट कॉमेडी इमोशनल ड्रामा फिल्म है फ़िल्म में एक अधेड़ उम्र  के प्रकाश मल्होत्रा   (जैकी श्रॉफ़ ) अपने चार युवा दोस्तों को जिंदगी के कुछ अनुभवों के बारे में बताते है चार युवा  एक ही समाज में अलग अलग समस्याओं का सामना कर रहे है।  एक शहीद के पिता के रूप में जैकी श्रॉफ़ अपने क़िरदार को बहुत ही संजीदगी के साथ परदे पर निभाते है उनके क़िरदार के कई और रंग है उस रात सब अपनी कहानी , सीक्रेट्स को साझा करते है। प्रकाश मल्होत्रा (जैकी श्रॉफ़)  की कहानी में बड़ा सीक्रेट है और साथ ही कुछ ऐसा जो चारों दोस्तों की सोच को हमेशा के लिए बदल देगा। इस अवसर पर निर्देशक दिव्यांश पंडित ने कहाकि ” फिल्म के लेख़क आयुष ग़ौर ने फिल्म का  बेसिक आयडिया बताया, मैं कहानी से बहुत प्रभावित हुआ फिर हम दोनों ने मिलकर इस कहानी को डेवलप किया और जग्गू दादा को सुनाया।  हमारे लिए सबसे बड़ी सफ़लता का क्षण था जब दादा ने कहाकि की वह इस फिल्म के लिए तैयार है।  तीन दिन की शूटिंग में हम सब दोस्त  बन गयी।  फिल्म में जग्गू दादा के कई सुझाव हम सब को बहुत अच्छे लगे। दर्शक जैकी श्रॉफ़ को एकदम नए किरदार में देखेंगे। फिल्म रात बाकी बात बाकी के कई दृश्य में आप हँसते है...

AAKANKSHA SAKHARKAR WANTS TO HOLD THE FLAG HIGH IN BOLLYWODD TOO AFTER MARATHI FILMS
