Raju Shripad Pednekar  Corporator started the the work of repairing the streets of Behram Baug, Jogeshwari.   The locals are very happy with his effort which he has taken for the residence of Behram Baug Jogeshwari West. Below he seen withthe local people at auspicious Coconut Breaking ceremony of the road for which  repairing is being done. His key achievements in Public service are: He has carried out Traditional, Social , Cultural work in his ward by conducting the gathering of people from all the sections of the society. He has done the work of road development, storm water drainage system, development of garden , laying of water supply lines in his ward. An event celebrating Body, Mind and Soul – TATVA Nurturing Thyself

LAJA presents TATVA – Nurturing Thyself opened to a warm, excited and heartening audience that had come from as far as Bhayander, Thane and New Bombay to participate in an event that is the first of its kind in Mumbai. A first where all aspects of Good Health – including Physical, Mental & Emotional, Self & Relationships and Entrepreneurship Growth were discussed, deliberated and debated.  Health should not and cannot be limited to just Physical wellbeing. A well-toned body does not necessarily mean an emotionally satisfied being. With such a profound thought in mind, team LAJA kick started the event that truly celebrated HOLISTIC health.   With a wonderful lineup of distinguished Guests who lent their support, blessings and words of encouragement; TATVA – Nurturing Thyself was set into motion at 10 am. Chief Guests Ms. BiinduKhuraana, Numerologist and Pioneer in Numero-Vaastu Consultancy; Ms. ManishaSoni, Hatha Yoga Instructorand Physiotherapist and a Naval Wife; and Prof. Dr. Tandon Kamal, Director & Professor at Sasmira lit the lamp and prayed for the well-being of those present and the smooth running of the event.         What followed is a wonderful mix of emotional and truly spirited speeches by the Guests of Honor including Ms. Ketki Mehta, AD Film Director & Brand Strategist; Ms. NabomitaMazumdar, Social Evangelist;  Ms. Pinky Rajgaria, Mrs. Asia Universe 2017 & Founder of Chingari Shakti Foundation; and Ms. NamrataThakker, Founder of Entrepreneur Excel who made time out for LAJA on a cold and lazy Sunday Morning.   The first Speaker, Happiness and Life Ms. AnshulVerma set the ball rolling with an activity-based session that had the participants on their feet and moving to her instructions. It was indeed a fresh and great star to a day that promised to have long and serious discussions.     This was followed by an encouraging speech by DrBhaviMody, Founder of DrVrudhi Holistic Health Care Services explaining the relation between body and mind. A healthy body without a healthy mind and vice versa is not humanly possible and it is important to cater to and care for both. The session on Emotional Sutras – Nurture your Mental and Emotional Self saw a serious and emotional panel discussion between Ms. Rachna Gupta, Happiness Coach; Mr. Biswajeet Bora, Film Maker; Mrs. LopamudraGogoi, Travel Columnist; Mr. RoshanMansukhani, Founder of a DJ and Music Academy and Ms. TanviMallya, Neuropsychologist. Malad Masti 2018: A Perfect Mélange Of Power Pack Performances And Never Ending Exhilaration

December 9th, 2018, Mumbai: Mumbai’s biggest street festival, on the second Sunday witnessed an enormous congregation of more than 40,000 people.Actors like Sharad Kelkar, Yash Tonk, Play back singers Vishal Kothari and Tiyah Kar, Comedians Rajiv Thakur and Siddharth Sagar andDancer Raghav Juyalgraced the event. The theme for this year revolves around ‘Malnutrition’ and takes health as a prime subject of emphasis and preachment.    ..    MLA, Mr. Aslam Shaikh said, “We have lots to offer all under one roof, our doors are open for one and all. In an age where our children spend more time on electronic gadgets with virtual friends than real people, this festival aims to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.The beauty of the festival is that it is planned and executed by the people, for the people. Our vision is to create a platform that promises entertainment and excitement for the whole family, and we hope that the rich assortment of events will inspire and attract audiences from across the city”. Malad Masti  is an initiative by MLA, Mr. Aslam Shaikh and ALM (Advanced Locality Management) Mindspace Malad, in association with Vision Foundation, an NGO designed especially for Mumbaikars to give them an opportunity to engage in various activities with their loved ones and have unblemished joy. The festival is open for one and all and is free. This initiative replaced cars on the road with activities like Kickboxing, Zumba, Yoga, Talent hunt, Robotics, Dance, Football, Chess, Nail Art, Mehendi Art, Adventure camp, Arts and craft etc. Children, parents, youth and the elderly were seen participating in exhilaration.Malad Masti 2018 was the perfect excuse for the residents to wake up and rush out to experience the exciting line-up of over70 Adrenalin-pumping activities. Besides, there were also a lot of recreational activities lined up during the three-hour event that allowed participants to relax and let their hair down. So whether you are looking forward to spending your Sundays with family or want to hang out with your friends, Malad Masti festival is the place to head to.
